The policy can be cancelled by giving 15 days written notice to the Star Health Insurance Company and the company will initiate the refund for the unexpired policy period. If the premium was being paid on a monthly instalment basis, then it is not refundable.

- Cashless hospitalization can be availed at any of the network hospitals of the company across India. The insured needs to furnish the Star Health ID card.
- Upon claim intimation from the policyholder, his/her attender or the network hospital, the insurance company will start verifying the policy coverage.
- Once the insurer receives the authorization request from the hospital and expenses thereof, your claim is accepted as per the Star Comprehensive Health Insurance policy terms and conditions.
- Pre-hospitalization expenses for a maximum of 60 days before getting admitted
- Post-hospitalization expenses for a maximum of 90 days of getting discharged from the hospital
- Hospitalization expenses can be claimed, including room charges, boarding charges, cost of nursing, anesthetist’s fee, surgeon’s fee, specialist’s fees, cost of drugs, pacemaker, and medicines.
- AYUSHhospitalization expenses including Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani and Siddha are payable under this policy.
